Status Report

Its about 2 o clock in the morning, and I'm still full of energy. This post is just going to be completely personal, stuff going on with me right now. Tomorrow, or maybe some time next week I plan to try to get some of my "Save the Arctic" petitions signed. I have no idea how, this town is all full of rednecks that just don't care...
Xbox headset broke today. Lol. It's a cheap Radioshack Gigaware wired one. Happens alot, but can't find the receipt or box...so I can't return it back like I always do. Kinda sucks...
Then again, video games haven't really been what I'm all for lately.. After coming back from NYLF I've been more into a completely different mindset. I've been spending most of my time on the INTERNET talking it up with my "second family" along with trying to find a set path for my future career in the field of medicine.

Save the Arctic Video

The Official Greenpeace promotional video. We must save the Arctic from ourselves. We must take a stand.

Save the Arctic: What you can do to help

Following up on my last post raises a question. What can YOU do to help? It's pretty simple...
Just follow this link, and sign:

It only takes like 5 seconds to sign this online petition. Most of you probably won't do it though. I know, they're asking for a good bit of personal info, but does it matter? Its Greenpeace! Not a "stalker" group that spies on you as you carry out your business! They will NOT spam you or call you. It's for an extremely great cause as well.

We must declare the Arctic off limits to oil drilling, industrial fishing and conflict overall. All you have to do it plant your name under the North Pole with the "Flag for the Future" and declare a global sanctuary for all...

So, what do you say? It's time to take charge and start the cleansing of this Earth. It won't be here forever, but we can work together to make sure the end doesn't happen increasingly.

The polar ice caps are melting. Within the next 20 years the North Pole will be free of ice, which means arctic critters, such as the Polar bear or the Arctic Fox, will lose their homes. As human beings we all must take the responsibility to clean up after our actions. But politicians and those oil brutes can't see the evidence that lays in front of them. Take a stand to spread the word, that we are losing one of our most greatest frontiers to the hands of man. We must declare the Arctic a protected area for all of humanity.

Why you can't trample over the Arctic.

So there is a gas company out there that wants to drill in the Arctic for oil.

Seriously, wtf. Why would you even think of such thing?
But they are, and it is a problem you can't just sit there and ignore. The arctic is home to many precious animals already getting screwed over by the ice caps melting. Machines that use oil or pumping harmful chemcials in the air. See? Its a cycle. And it must be broken.
The arctic is untamed land, and no human should ever lay their destructive hands on it. After the oil crisis down in the gulf I honestly think no oil company should be trusted in drilling oil overall. Oil is crude and worthless. We need to move on to use more cleaner sources...

Quote

We will not be broken

I will not be broken

We will live this day

Nos vivere die

-Brian Amin
This is the "quote" I say to myself every time I'm in a serious accident, or before I go for Pakour. Its made up of different things from other little quotes, the first verse being from a Storm Freerunning video.

Now, where do I go from here?

I'm really starting to miss the Hippocrates crew. Woke up today, and didn't feel like doing anything without them. Normally, I would wake up, hang out with my roomate for a bit, and goto a med session or talk or socialize. Its summer vacation and I seem to be bored. Xbox won't help me out of this one.

I'm planning on either traveling on my own or start using my newly found leadership skills here in Breezewood. Maybe go out for the Youth EMT courses?
I have nothing against my parents, but after this fourm. I really feel like I'm my own person. They would be up in NJ and all I would have to do is take a train back to see them (My original plan was to go up to NY btw). Then again, what would I be doing in NY all by myself? I'm looking for something, but honestly I'm stupid enough not knowing what I'm looking for. Its a driving nonsense. All I really want is to see and reunite with my "2nd family."

Like the title says: Where do I go from here?
